This is embarrassing. In either case, regarding the open discussion and or posted pictures of my comments (and my comments alone), I have no issue whatsoever with that information being publicly available. The higher moderating team may not be happy with such disclosure, and if that happens to be true, I will have to back their decision. However, insofar as no one has any real issue with my sole information and commentary being displayed, neither do I.

In regard to the larger point being discussed here: that you're complaining about being punished for leaked information only further highlights your deliberate and impenetrable antagonism. Everyone is well and fairly aware that the backstage is a confidential zone. All that is spoken is not to be leaked to the public (this is in place so that the staff can do their job without fear of constant chastisement from the community). You know this very well (I'm sure). Either you're a brainless dolt or your trolling knows no bounds. I posit that this is not a dichotomy. My suspicion is that, at once, you are both a complete idiot and, further, determined to cause trouble for no reason other than your own shallow amusement.

Closed for a better adjective. Which was explained backstage to Dee when she asked, we agreed that it could be kept open as long as there wasn't a discussion of torrents, which I see is on the borderline now. Discussing torrents is against the forum rules.

^I understand and I'm not really trying to defend Thomas here, but both of those are pretty legit.

He didn't delete the first topic, just close it. It could be justified by our rule against discussing illegal things. Assumedly the things that guy was torrenting weren't entirely legal. But we talk about torrents all the time, so most of us disagreed, which is why it was reopened.

And that topic is legit. i guess it's only similar if you don't understand what weak reasoning there was for closing that?

And I'm arguing him that privately, but he didn't delete the topic. There was no abuse involved. His judgment was not the greatest, but the situation was easily rectified. Technically speaking, what he did was no worse than the topic itself.

Like Nicki said, it's been dealt with, reopened, and my justification for closing it was a little askew. My apologies. I was wrong. :)

The other topic that was closed really wasn't a big deal. I happened to click on it right after it was closed. I told Thomas that it technically wasn't dicussing torrent software, so that we should leave it open and see where it goes. You requested your topic to be deleted, and that was handled.

There's no mod abuse going on, just stopping something before it happened.

Yes, Juna and KC said Thomas was abusing his mod powers, but it is not at all connected to what you brought up. They meant topics Thomas read correctly and understood, not one he misunderstood.
