OPEN YOUR EYES is a story telling that open your eyes and see how us hmong are needing help and there has been many wars in Laos and many of suffering of hunger and many other things..many have been killed and they are afraid... this is most of the meaning of the song..

All songs mean something. I'm not sure what you mean by "real" songs...but "real" or not they do. It could be as simple as "Oh look...that guy riding a bicycle looks so free and stuff" XD
