i thought feedback topics were to remain opened until it was mutually agreed upon by both parties that it can be closed.

THOMAS!

Actually, Spencer is right. Do not move or close Feedback topics until the original topic starter has had a chance to respond.

lol@ people posting feedback topics at the same time a topic on the same subject is posted backstage

also lol @ my current inability to form a complete sentence

No I'm not drunk.

Also because I'm lazy, here's what I posted backstage:

Agreed, it's not really our place to say an issue's resolved, and it's not exactly a high priority to keep the feedback forum clean. Give it a couple of days and make sure people have had an opportunity to give their input. If it's one person's problem, wait for them to tell us the issue is resolved.

why does it matter if a forum is crammed? is that not the point?

LOL Guess I'll follow Thomas' lead.

Crammed up? lol

I understand that clutter looks sort of silly, I totally understand that. However, Feedback isn't ever going to be the most tidy forum here.

It's just not our place to shut down threads that haven't even had a chance to breathe. Even when they have, we need to respect people enough to give them ample time, at a minimum, ample warning that if they don't respond in a given time THEN the thread will be considered resolved.

Again, Feedback is for the community. They basically get to take the wheel in that forum if what they are asking/presenting is something reasonable (not spam feedback, for example).

I'm leaking my own Backstage shit.

I don't think it's a very hard concept, but hows about we wait until the topic maker makes it clear that the issue has been resolved. Then we close the topic, and then later on we move it to resolved. Eh?

This shouldn't even be an issue.
