Johnny Blaze or whatever the hell they're calling him now has some moderate in ring talent, but that isn't all it takes. The kid's got no spark, no charisma, no personality. He's no Rock, Stone Cold, and certainly no Hollywood. Yeah, he'll go on to win the ECW championship a couple more times probably, and maybe even hold the IC title again. But he's not world champ material. At least not in the near future. Considering the talents still on currently and how many years they can stay on, namely guys like Batista, Edge, John Cena, etc. You're looking at a long ways before a slot opens up in the A-list for a guy like Morrison.

Wow, there's so much wrong with that. First off, the boos started for him when he was Rocky Maiavia, a FACE, and a really irritating one. Thus, he turned heel, for no reason other than he was being booed already.
Also, The Rock was heel MOST of the time? WTF?
November 1996-June 1997: Face (all be it he got booed a lot)
June 1997-September 1998: Heel (all be it he got cheered a lot)

No charisma? That's just plain WRONG. He has plenty of charisma. He's extremely innovative and creative, and comes up with a lot of original stuff. And how can I take you seriously if you don't even use his correct name?
Look at the current World Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk. Morrison is a hell of a lot more charismatic, and a better wrestler.

You've just said what I said already. If you'll look at the dates I've given, you've just filled in what he was doing in that time, which I already know in incredible detail, just didn't feel the need to spell it all out.
And look at the original heel Jericho character in WCW. He was a loser who wanted to be successful. Trying to bear Goldberg, getting crappy pyro and constantly underrated. Morrison is none of those. He's pushed as a real deal (or was for a while, now he's one half of the best tag team this Century).
And his very first face run, aka the start of his career, was not to set him up as a heel. He just didn't get over, that simple. So yeah, obviously when he joined the Nation, vented his frustration and threw in some comedy, he ironically got over.
You seem to be one of these people who doesn't want new stars to be pushed because you're unfamiliar with them. That's such a WCW problem. The WWE have always pushed and created new stars, and if they're smart, which they are, they'll make Morrison a Main Eventer within the coming years.
Also, why do you differentiate WWE and ECW? WWE own ECW now. It's just a third brand of WWE, only with the "ECW" name. Nothing at all like the original ECW. It's still a decent brand, though. Just shouldn't be named ECW.

At any rate I differentiate between the three brands because there has always been a hierarchy of talent levels when it came to Raw, Smackdown, and ECW. Unfortunately ECW is on the bottom of the ladder. Morrison has the likes of Big Daddy V and the Boogeyman as competition. As with all the brands, however, there is a sprinkling of decent talent, such as Matt Hardy and...uh...Chavo is alright.
At any rate, I don't mind new talent. Like I said I haven't watched a lot recently so I don't know all who is up and coming, but I was and am a huge fan of John Cena when he was the "Poster Boy for Ruthless Agression", loved Shelton Benjamin as he became the only man to beat every member of Evolution, and am constantly surprised by how much I actually like Carlito. I just never liked, and continue to not like John Morrison. I don't see him as a serious hall of fame type main eventer. I don't see him taking on the likes of HHH and John Cena.
Then again I said the same thing about Edge.
Although I am mortally offended by the statement "best tag team this Century". Never will John Morrison and The Miz be considered the best. With hall of famers to compare against, I'm sorry but they're not even in the top 20.

But those teams all started in the 90's. I mean teams MADE this millennium.
And I'm still 100% determined that John Morrison will be a Main Event star one day. He just has EVERYTHING.
