Its almost impossible for me to build body mass. I've been around 140 lbs most of my adult life. I eat everything. I wouldn't even mind gaining fat, as long as I gained. I'm starting to hit the gym again. Last time I hit the gym I lost weight. So I'm really cautious.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a solution?

In my twenties. I'm 5'7. I hit the gym two days in a row. Someone told me I should go day on and day off. That true?

Yes.

But don't take my word for it. Ask Reidar.

It probably is on the nutrition side. Do you know how many calories you eat every day?

Yes. I started at 115. Now, I'm 235.

You're not eating enough. If you eat at a calorie excess, you will gain weight, no matter how fast your metabolism is and makes you want to despair, like a mewing weakling.

Also, the amount of rest you need depends entirely on how the specific routine is structured. The Russian National Powerlifting team benches up to eight times a week.

With the title, and being in health, I thought this would be something completely different.

Thanks Reidar. What do you think about those weigh protein shakes?
Reidar
You should invest in whey, yes.

Whey protein is found in baby formula.
