Does anyone ever eat just croutons? No salad or dressing or anything, just.......... croutons.

I love eating just plain croutons. My mom buys a lot when they're on sale at Safeway and I just eat them out of the bag. Italian seasoning is the best.

When I was younger I used to like them. Now, ehh... they're like empty calories to me now.

I would if my mom ever buys them.

But I usually eat them with salad slightly dipped in ranch. Yummy. Now I'm hungry.

I love Croutons! I tried eating it plain, it wasn't that bad. But I don't have Croutons regularly in the kitchen. I love them in salads, I always put a lot. Mad good.

i love croutons! i used to eat it by itself when i was younger but i stopped because my parents stopped buying them, lol. but i eat them in salads, like when we order them at restaurants, lol.

croutons and salad should get a divorce. for realz.

i think croutons in salad is nasty and them alone are delish.

i just cut up some baguette and like
fry some with olive oil. add some seasoning.

They're actually made with stale bread a lot. I buy it in huge loaves at costco, for eating, and making croutons

So you can make it with any kind of bread?

Would it turn out differently if I used, say, sourdough bread? I love sourdough bread. :D Yumm.

Whenever I eat salads with croutons on them, I can never catch the croutons.

They're so easy and simple! I just cut up day-old bread. (Any kind will do, mix and match if you want.) I sprinkle some herbs, add some lemon juice, Parmesan, whatever I have around, drizzle olive oil on 'em, and then bake them until crispy.

i love making my own croutons because they're easy to make & yummy.
