MAMMA MIA!!

I just came home from watching it, and I swear that it is the best musical I have ever seen. I was never a huge fan of ABBA, so I was a tiny bit iffy about watching the movie... but IT WAS SO WORTH IT! It's so mood-lifting and happy, and everything was perfect. The songs, the singing (sans Pierce Brosnan), the acting, the humour,... And everyone looked fantastic!
Anarchy
^Yeah, my sister watched that and recommended it to me. Is it really that good?
xstarstruckk
i haven't seen mamma mia because i immediately went on my logic that all movies that came from a book/play are horrible.

this is solely because harry potter and the producers let me down miserably.

i probably will see it. i heard it was good.

My friends who saw the Broadway production said the movie wasn't as good, and that it had a completely different ending... but they still loved it. I couldn't stop smiling all the way home after watching it... it was just so happy! But I guess it really depends on what movie genres you like. I'm a sucker for musicals, and I LOVE the cast... so maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much.

But seriously (and I cannot stress this enough), EVERYONE WAS SO GOSH DARN BEAUTIFUL! Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried were absolutely gorgeous in this movie, and they had such little make-up on too...
Butterflyphoenix
Little Miss Sunshine....in case you haven't seen it. shifty.gif

Oh! And 21

It was good but it wasn't OMGAMAZING!!1!@111 laugh.gif I agree that the songs were re-done really well(minus Pierce, the dude can't sing). The movie was very upbeat and everyone was SOO~~~ HAPPY OMG YAY!! Maybe a little TOO happy. stubborn.gif But yeah, if you want some good laughs and good tunes, see Mamma Mia.
