okay, typically i have very little discharge. recently though i've been getting more that usual and its been weirdcolors. before it was kinda a yellowish white when its normally only white. i was also itchy and really tender whenever i got it. it started back in like april. but it didnt really bother me till end of may. i put off talking to my mom about it just because...well you know. its an iffy subject. and a couple weeks ago it cleared up and wasnt bothering me. well a couple days ago, my discharge has looked kinda dirtyish/brown. its really nasty.
but i was wondering what it could be and if i should go see a doctor about it...

I would talk to your mom about it. I know its really iffy and its something i probably wouldnt want to do.
but it could be a yeast infection.

hopefully you're at least 18 so you don't need your parents to see the doctor..

if youre having sex, get tested for STD/ STI. if youre not having sex, just go to the docs and tell them the problem. i remember my cousin had a problem with her discharge and it ended up having to do with her kidneys. so just go get it checked.

Yeah, I'm sexually active but my boyfriend is clean, so I don't know how it could be an STD.
With her kidneys? Thats strange...
But ok, I will try to talk to my mom about it tomorrow so I can go see a doctor.

Yeah I think the best thing to do is it go to a doctor & tell your mom.

it also might be a bacterial infection.. but you'll def need antibiotics for weird discharge like that.

Wow! I can't believe you posted this up! I saw this in a magazine and I thought it was very useful, especially for girls.
Anyway, I think you should go check out a doctor if your discharge situation gets worse. But it could also be that you're just not washing that area whenever you shower.

If it's something that's been going on for a while and it hasn't passed, you should deffinitely get it checked out. When you go to the doctor, let him/her know that you are sexually active. Not only because of STDs (you never know) but also because sexually active women are more likely to get UTIs.

It's probably a bacterial/vaginal infection. I hope you got that checked out by now, or told your mom.
