I'm looking for a simple webcounter that won't make me fill out a bunch of forms and can be edited with html.

Look for some on Google. They're bound to have one for you.

Sitemeter or google.com/analytics both are cool i don't know about how much sign up is needed. Theres also http://www.usersonline.com/ which says how many are currently viewing the page.

You don't have to pay for some webcounters. Was that what you meant?

No, i'm just looking for a simple webcounter for my page and when I search on google the first 10 pages are those really tacky bulky counters.

I'll try out google.com/analytics..
does it have a counter that I could put on my website?
Melissa
Google analytics is great, but if you're looking for a counter to put on your website, you can try this:

http://www.website-hit-counters.com/

You can also try googling "cgi counters" and reading up on how to make your own.

sitemeter.com is pretty good. It shows site summary and referrers and all those cool stuff and you only need to make an account.

I've used it for all my sites.
