That wasn't shocking to me either (and Callie's reaction was well played).

I'm a little tired of Christina right now. Thing is, we already have perpetually dark and dreary Meredith, it's annoying with two of them like that now. Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for the girl (Christina), but snap out of it already.

agreed. we get that Christina is all boohooey because she didn't get credit for her "achievements" but I wish she'd be tough enough to handle it and just move on. if she's so talented, she can find her way around Hahn and just continue to do whatever she's good at.

does anyone else attribute bad storylines to "character flaws"? I love this show so much that I think I excuse bad storylines by thinking of stupid things as the "humanness" of the characters...
Sprague
I can't wait for the two hour finale. :)
superstitious
One more night. =)

About the character flaws, I do the same thing. It's why I'm able to tolerate Meredith. It's also why I love Alex so much. He's just as flawed as the rest but he wears it well.
Joanne
The show just isn't as good anymore... the whole thing between Meredith and Derek is pissing me off. And I totally agree with ^ opinion on Christina's situation. Ugh.
doiink
how messed up is it that I actually like how messed up Meredith is?
Teesa
-glad that sparkly pager made christina normal again and her finally speaking up to hahn was great
-glad that george is going to re-take his exam
-i kind of thought the bladder problem for the guy in the cement would be a bigger deal...and that lola chick was a bitch.
-the relationship between jeremy and beth was so throb.gif glad that beth survived the surgery
-glad that izzie stood up to alex and the crazy lady rebecca and glad that she and alex did not have sex because that would have been awful (although i am all for them being together, just definitely not under those circumstances)
-and super glad that meredith and derek are finally together again! (well, after he breaks it off with that one girl) that house thing she did was so cute.

Ehm, not at all, cause I totally agreed!

I'm happy with my two hour finale that I've been waiting for. :)

I agree with Teesa, I LOVED when Christina spoke up to Hahn. My boyfriend and I were laughing so much when that happened (Hahn annoys me, I have to admit :s) I also agree that Lola was well, aggravating. I mean. Shove what your friends think in your mouth and just go hold the guy's hand. Jesus. ><

The candle lit thing Meredith did was adorable. I'll admit that if it had happened to me, I would have just melted right then and there. <3 And I'm such a Patrick Dempsey fan, so my heart was mad racing the last few minutes of the episode. :) God I'm such a dork. xD
doiink
an amazing finale. although we're left with yet another triangle cliffhanger, this one is bearable. the house thing was absolutely adorable, and I just loved this episode. the best parts have all been mentioned already but this was just such a mellow and nice and lovely episode.

meredith's moment of revelation was just wonderful, I didn't even get it until she realized it actually heh.

so things to address
HAHN + CALLIE LOL
GEORGE + LEXI? oh yeah it was so cute when she was talking about her photographic memory, and she did a great job of making George pull himself together.
superstitious
Eh, I feel like the Callie/Hahn thing was pushed. Just not feeling the chemistry there at all. I think I'm spoiled on the Willow/Tara chemistry (from Buffy). They were HOT. Callie/Hahn is a big snooze fest for me.

What I didn't snooze about was friggin Alex and Izzie. About damn time, even though she was "comforting" him.

I predicted (hehe) Lexie having a George crush and I really like the idea of those two together.
Joanne

IM SO HAPPY THAT CHRISTINA IS FIXED.

I friggen always relate grey's to real life situations XD.gif
SaturdayRiot
I totally missed Season 4! Now i have towait for it to come out on DVD.
In the meantime, ive been watching seasons 1-3 on DVD :D
I love this show(:

whos your favorite character? :D
Joanne
It used to be Izzie when she had Denny... Now I'm totally in love with George and Lexie!!
SaturdayRiot
Alex has to be my favorite i think.
:D
My favorite episode is when they have that guy who claims hes physcic and freaks Izzie out by calling her Cricket and stuff :]
Packratofthemind
I love Doctor Bailey :)

My favorite is Izzie though. LOVE her
superstitious
Alex FTW. throb.gif

SO glad he and Izzie got some play FINALLY.
lexichelle
i have to say i love pretty much all the characters for different reasons, except for hahn. i haven't warmed up to her yet.

THE FINALE. i just about died of happiness when meredith made the house with candles...*melts* of course, theres my mother "i bet dereks gonna die or get in an accident while going to find rose."

_dry.gif

i can't wait till next season!
Joanne
Is it just me here who's kind of annoyed with Meredith? Something about her just... ugh I don't know. She just bugs me.

I caught a rerun of the season two finale. I love Denny, and it breaks my heart every time.

... and what does everyone think about the whole Katherine Heigl/nomination controversy?
doiink
^ justified decision for the most part; I mean, she really didn't make a huge impact on this season (if i recall correctly). If she had, I'd remember right? Then again, there was barely anything in the past season to begin with (friggen strike) but ASSUMING that she made the decision because the season did not showcase much of her talent, then I think she made a great decision. Whether or not it was some sort of publicity stunt..well we don't know but at least I agree on the fact that her role wasn't integral or hugely impacting on the show this season.

I'm not annoyed with Meredith at all quite frankly, THANK GOODNESS she's in the process of fixing herself and her life. I agree that had her incapacity to love or commit been dragged on for just a tad bit longer I would've been frustrated with her. I'm waiting to see how she grows and changes next season, and I seriously want to see Derek and Meredith succeed instead of having craploads of issues (rose meh) for the sake of the show's drama. sighhhh
Tung
this show is awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Tung
sad.gif just finished watching season 2 greys anatomy season finale, and I can't believe he dieddd!! he had a new heart too. i feel so sorry for izzy. sad.gif they were so cute together.
wwwww
Aww. Spoiler. I hadn't seen that yet.
fredatemespleen
hahaha.
guys watch greys anatomy?!?

O_o
Tung
my ex and I are watching it together. so im watching it. rofl. but it ended up being hella good lol.
fredatemespleen
I'm always tortured by it cause my sister watches it.
gahhhd.

I don't really pay attention to it that much but half of the cast annoys me just by looking at them.
doiink
^ +5pts for tung.

lol at the big ole hubbub over the katherine heigl thing now. there are apparently two sides going on: the one with the writers claiming their "revenge" by giving Izzie a tumor this upcoming season, and the side with Shonda Rhimes basically saying she loves Izzie the character/katherine the actress. something to that effect.
Sandraaa
LULZ! You're far dude. :( I know!! I cried.
doiink
gonna merge k? <3

yeah I cried during this.

wait wasn't she holding like a basket thing in the elevator? reminded me of easter..
paperplane
ummmm

moved to tv/movies

XTC, no one should have to apply spoiler tags regarding something that aired 2-3 years ago.

Best episode in all of TV history.

:( No kidding. Saddest episode ever.
The-March-Hare
^ Unfortunately, any poignancy is destroyed by the amount of wallowing she does for the next feels-like-forever. Honestly, yes, very sad. Perhaps coping would be in order, though?
superstitious
She copes. Just takes her two years and screwing her married best friend to do it.

Oh and her anti emmy is fully justified. The media pisses me off to no end. What a damn tragedy someone actually being HONEST about NOT deserving an emmy nomination.
The-March-Hare
By the time she manages to cope to an extent where I no longer wanted to shoot her to put her out of her (and my) misery, I had lost all interest in the proceedings.
superstitious
Which begs the question -

Which is worst, emoIzzie or emoChristina?
Joanne

I agree. I think Grey's kind of went downhill last season. Don't get me wrong, it's still an awesome show... but you have to admit it's not as kickass as the previous seasons.

I think the show started getting worse after Denny died. I mean, how do you top that?!

And I think emoIzzie is much better than emoChristina - the latter is just so weird... =\
doiink
emoCHRISTINA is just not right. emoIZZIE is understandable, it's more part of her nature. emoCHRISTINA is just wtf, this isn't right at all; but it does give an interesting side to Christina as she has a very different way of dealing with things. (more entertaining I'd say)

grey's went downhill -> HAHN + CALLIE WTF
superstitious
emoCHRISTINA just isn't natural. Sandra Oh did an amazing job with the material she was given though. As did Miranda. Hell, Miranda (can't remember the actress's name off hand) is the one who deserves the damn emmy. Jeez. She's the life of the show, in my opinion.

Show went downhill with the loss of Burke and Addie. I watch seasons 1-3 with this strange sense of dread now, knowing that they are both gone when season 4 begins. I could give a rat's ass about "Private Practice". Bring Addie back.

I'm hoping that next season will find better ground. Season 4 had such a rocky beginning and with the WGA strike, didn't really have a chance to get back into full swing. Although, I did really enjoy the season finale.
doiink
^ agreed on the burke and addie.

damn they both kicked ass.

sloan was such a waste of a side character imo, wished the writers gave him more to work with.
superstitious
Oh totally. I thought for sure they'd give him more to do in season 4. He's absolutely fantastic and completely wasted on Grey's. I would have quit.
Joanne
I couldn't care less about Burke. He really bothered me on the show anyway... good thing he turned out to be jackass =P But I do agree that Addison's absence really contributes to the downfall of Grey's. I LOVE Addison!! She's so awesome hahaha... and I actually enjoy Private Practice, but it may be because I'm a fan of Taye Diggs'. But yeah, PP is no Grey's.

And yeah Chandra Wilson TOTALLY deserves the Emmy! She's such a great actress... she deserves so much more credit for her work than she's given. =]
Tung
So after 1.5 months of watching Grey's Anatomy Season 1-4, I can agree with you all. Season 4 really took a downhill. I just finished the season finale last night, and NOTHING was thrilling at all. Usually season finales leave a cliffhanger about what will happen, but nothing exciting happened at all. And I can't believe Burke and Allison wasn't in season 4. They need to get rid of Hahn, cuz I have a hard time looking at her. Her face makes me want to choke a bitch. Also Izzie + George's relationship ended hella quickly, so I thought his breakup with Callie was for nothing. I like Lexi and George though. They are so CUTE together. And is it just me, or do Merideth and Derek's relationship really annoying? They break up, hook up, break up, it's really annoying. I really thought they should had Derek and Rose relationship and worked with that. Merideth needs a new man.
Joanne
^ I completely agree with you, Tung. AND THANK YOU ON THE MEREDITH/DEREK THING! Ugh, I'm so annoyed with them already... I have to try so hard not to just walk out of the room when the scene focuses on them.
superstitious
I always thought that Meredith and Sloan should hook up. Is it me, or do they have a lot of chemistry together?

Besides, I need more Sloan in a towel scenes. Those are AWESOME.
doiink
MEREDITH AND SLOAN D:

they'd be so witty and entertaining together. ahhh think of all the flirtations between them
Tung
I can't believe I finish 4 season worth of Grey's in just less than two months. It's really fresh in my mind. If anyone would love to discuss this via PM or AIM, I would love it. I been discussing this with alot of my female friends, because they all watch it. I have like no guy friends who watches it. sad.gif
superstitious
Hell, discuss it here. I love this show. lol

And you know what, I think we need to start a "GIVE SLOAN SOME DAMN MATERIAL" campaign with ABC.
Joanne
Although Sloan is quite yummy, I don't really care for him... I'm more into the scenes with Izzie, George, Lexie, or Miranda in them. And Addison!!!!! =D
superstitious
Izzie and Alex ftw! I'm really excited to see what they do with George and Lexie. I love those two together.

For sure! A/I is love!!!!!
Callie/Hahn is totally WTF?
George/Lexie - :)
I love all scenes with Izzie, Meredith, Miranda, George, or Cristina. OH! If Addison is in it, then that, too.
