Answer something for me please.

I wanted to try to marry Marlin or have him propose to me.
Instead i got rock who is quite lazy and i never even TRIED to aknoledge him in the game at all.
Then when my second chapter began he asked me if he could live with me
I declined and it ended up ending my game because of that
(i spent a bloody week trying to marry marlin T3T)
so to anyone who has played this game for the gamecube
How can i get the person i want to marry me?
I dont want to end up in the same situation and have to start all over another time.

i know this seems stupid but blah. im on a quest i guess : D

I have the harvest moon guy version, though, so I'm not sure how much of a help I can be to you, haha. But um, what I do is basically try to talk to them every day and find out what kind of things they like and keep giving it to them as often as you can! Do you already have the blue feather?
