okay so I havent pulled out my desktop in over a year after we moved, but when my laptop got a virus I decided I need to pull this baby back out because I need to do projects but I dont have word, I dont know why, can someone give me a link to a download because I went on the microsoft site but all they have are office and they cost money, I just need word :] thank you :]

unfortunately, word comes with office. you could always use a good alternative, like open office.

There is always *cough* piracy *cough* but that wouldn't be the ethical way to do it.

If you do have a mac desktop (since you did not state what type of computer you have), you can try NeoOffice, which is basically the same thing as Open Office, but for Macs.

Try looking for an older version of Microsoft Office or seeing if you can't get a student discount.
