Anyways, if you don't want to be with this guy, you don't have to. What you want to tell him is nice but the part where you said "I feel like I told you already too much" Don't say that part. Everything else is good. You actually don't need to add the part where you basically put that you don't want him to suffer with your 'issues'. You don't have to explain yourself if you don't want to. If you think possibly that maybe you'd want him as a significant other in the future, you could say maybe something like "I need time".

Don't not go out with him because he'll treat you good. Trust me I've been down the same road. I thought I didn't deserve someone good and I ended up going out with a alcoholic/druggy that ended up putting all his addictions before me, cheated on me numerous times, put me down, and generally didn't give a shit about me. After him It made me realize that no one deserves to be treated the way I was treated and I found someone that's absolutely head over heals for me and always puts me as his first priority. If you like this guy go for it, and if it doesn't work out you can at least say you tried.
