So, this question isn't coding-related - strictly design. I'm brainstorming and would love some unique ideas from the lovely CB community. I'm doing a website for a gun museum and was wondering where you guys would suggest going with the layout. Colors, placement - anything you can offer would be helpful. I want to kind of step outside the box a little bit and I've been stuck in a rut lately, so I figured you guys might be able to help. :3
Insurmountable
A gun museum..so like what all is going to be displayed on the website?

Historical information about the museum, a catalog for their gift shop (no shopping cart, it's against state law for them to sell online), image galleries. There will also be a newsletter for members, calendar of events, and a way for him to add blog-style updates to the main page (per his request).

Maybe put the content over an M-16 or something?

And that smiley ":3," is used by furries, are you part of the fandom or do you just like that smiley?

I just think it's funny. xD

Thanks for your advice.

Thats what I thought. I think it would be strange to see a furry on Cb.

I'm done derailing your topic.

Gah. I'm trying to visualize, but literally, nothing is coming to mind. Do you have any specific information about the museum? Some pictures perhaps?
libertie
It's actually a gun museum in Claremore, Oklahoma. I don't want to post a link just because I know if I post it on CB it will inevitably show up in search results before the actual website does. ._.

edit; I should specify, I'm doing a site redesign. I'm basically planning on rebuilding it.
