been listenin to this dudes music for some time and i gotta say he's pretty chill with his lyrics and beats, kinda makes me wish more people would listen to stuff like this

That's why I love Lupe. Everything about him is craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy. I gotta say The Cool didn't interest me as much as Food & Liquor did because of the production work, but it's still a pretty good album. I just hope his 3rd and supposedly last album can bring back some of that good 'ol Food & Liquor sound.

I love Lupe too. :] Really nice music.

I think rappers like Lupe, Kanye, Common, Mos Def, and of course my boy Talib Kweli, are a dying breed. It is so comforting to hear brothers talking about something socially conscious and not about what hoe or drug they are doing next.

Lupe's music has actually been watered down since the release of his first commercial mixtapes back in 2006. However, he still holds it down.

I'll have you know that I acquired that song the night you exposed me to it. xD

lupe is one of the designated few that can actually rap. not all that other bullspit. like: lets make a new effin dance which really isnt a dance. haha

that's why i barely listen to any hiphop.
