Well you can't take a screen shot of a video expecting it to get the entire video, really. I think what you have to do is take a screen shot of every frame from the video.

lol i mean i want to take a screen shot of a movie not the entire movie. Also the screen shot keep on moving when i was playing the movie and when i stop the movie the screenshot turned black. i forgot what i have to fix, cause i just got a new computer

If you have Windows Media Maker, you can open up the movie in that, move to the right frame, then take the screen shot.

You can't print screen videos using the print screen key. It just doesn't work.

I use GOM Player, which has a screen capture feature.

Windows Media Player comes default with windows.

From my experience, I can't ever screen capture using the print screen key. I've tried pasting it on a bunch of programs, and it never worked.

And GOM Player isn't a program just for screen capturing. It's a video player, and really good for watching movies/tv shows. thumbsup.gif

The only problem I have with GOM is that it doesn't support DVD screen capturing. I'd recommend using Power DVD, if you have it. Most computers come with it preinstalled. There's a screen capture ability built right in. At least in version 5 there is.

If you're trying to screen grap from a non dvd type format, GOM is a fantastic software to use.
