xbox!

Both!

Xbox has great graphics and good first person games.

Ps2 aslo has great graphics (depending on the game) but has the best variety of games.

It would be a sin to make me choose. biggrin.gif

well, i choose xbox, 1) becasue I own one, and 2) it has more first person shooters, and 3) It has way better graphics. I own a ps2 also, and I play dance dance revolution on it. That would be a plus for ps2 if xbox didnt have a ddr title on it also.
Smallbubba89
i dont like the Xbox controller.. it's so bulky! PS2 has more games that i enjoy and the controller is easier for me. [i think the gamecube controller is the best one though... too bad there's not a lot of games there i play other than SSB melee]

so my answer would be PS2, hehe

then why not just play using your computer? FPS are better on computers. there are no good games that are made just for xbox.

If you ask me, the GameCube is the best because of their original games and VERY low price.

[edit] added gamecube to the title due to the added interest

heh, i have to ditto with every1 owning a gamecube. It is kool. I have one, but I play xbox the most. I duno why. I just love that system.

PS2 hands-down now. Too bad the grpahics aren't as good as X-BOX.

BUT, now games are comming out, with ONLINE play that is ONLY exclusive for PS2. Example: (007: Every thing or nothing by E.A.)

isn't 007 coming out for gamecube as well? what other GOOD (as in, not FF) exclusive games are coming out for PS2 huh?

is anyone familiar with gamecube warp pipe? i wanna try that out with mario kart double dash. what's the maximum amount of players allowed for double dash?

xbox controller sux

the thing is huge... they tried to copy the dreamcast controller and failed miserably. In my opinion the best controllers out there would be the dreamcast controller, snes and gamecube. (you can't beat the wavebird!). The NES controller is nice, but i don't like the sharp corners.
jimmyjackiechan
^^

Yes, the 007 game IS comming out for gamecube, and as well to Xbox.

And other games, that are top of my head is: Yea, besides FF XI or XII or watever, there's obviously the SOCOM games, Need For Speed: UNderground is also exclusive online play on PS2. The new 007 game. Pretty Syphon Filter 3 will also. Well, that's for now, off the top of my head, but I defintly know there's more, and more in teh future as well. I don't follow games as much as I did when I was a kid.
:)

Oh another thing, before this forum possibly might start "Flaming" (hope not, we all friends here) i am not dissing any other system, and what not. Each possess it's own power and flaws, we all know that. It's just my personal preference I consider joy from my PS2 and into the future.

I value ur opinions as well~
Have a nice day~
fr0stbite
well xbox definately has the best tech and graphics, but PS2 has all the good games and such... gamecube is... just a more advanced version of N64, i don't think its that great tongue.gif
Tal_Dara
My philosophy is this, i only get games that are being put out on the gamecube, you know the "only for nintendo games." I wouldn't say get Need for Speed Underground for the gamecube. I bought that for the Xbox because it would have better graphics and sound. Basically put it this way, I wouldn't buy a game for gamecube if its on all three consoles already. The other consoles do have some better graphics than gamecube. I'm not trying to put down the G-CUBE or anything, but I want the best out of my games so why pay $50 for a game on gamecube when you can get the same game on XBOX for the same amount of money with better graphics. Like I said though, thats what I do.

gamecube rules when it comes parties! Oh my gosh, Mario Party 5 and Mario Kart: Double Dash fill my cousins' basement with freaking screams! hahah, best party console ever. but still... PS2 rules.
jimmyjackiechan
^^
Lol. Nintendo has been like that since NES.

Aaaww, the fond memories~ Of 2-D, 2-player Side scrolling

it has online play for the pc too right?

The new 007 game

you agreed with me that the 007 game is not a ps2 exclusive, why include it?

which leaves us with socom and syphon filter. both excellent games.

however, you can not ignore gamecube's plethora of exclusive games. Just to name a few:

-Super Smash Bros Melee
-Luigi's Mansion
-Metroid Prime
-Mario Sunshine
-Pikmin
-Animal Crossing
-Mariokart Double Dash

*Sighs.

Read my previous post. It's just every one has their preferences. Each game has their genre. Each system is good and bad in there own way. Just leave it as that. Yea, i forgot that PC has online play for NFS, but the forum topic is about the comparison of X-box, PS2, and GC.

And to that other guy how said PS2 rules. Maybe he says cause he just do. I like the color red, cause it's just red. Leave it at that. Open minded, be opened minded every one~ yawn.gif whistling.gif ermm.gif

do you realize what you just said? you say gamecube is a more advanced version of the N64 yet you somehow forget that the console that came before the Playstation 2 is the playstation. Names sound kinda familiar don't they? Wait, the games, controllers and memory cards are backward compatible! You wouldn't call that just a more advance version of the playstation huh?
