Kryo, I'm sorry you think you were warned for a stupid reason, but to be fair I sent you a PM the first time asking you to stop. The second time I raised your warning level. The third time I raised your warning level to 20% (making you no longer eligible for OM status) and put you on mod preview to ensure that it wouldn't happen again. Do you really think it's that stupid?

It wouldn't have been so bad but it was everywhere. As I said, I sent him a PM first, then warned him when he continued, then warned him again when again, he continued.

I don't want to inject myself into an argument that's none of my business, and both of you are two of my all-time favorite CBers , but how is that any worse than most of the crap/spam that goes on on CB? Absolutely not, and I think most people know that I have a pretty high tolerance level for spam (or maybe it just doesn't bother me, like at all). If it hadn't been so MUCH I probably would've overlooked it and left it at my first PM which was something like "uh, stop lol xD".

I mean, I venture around CB, and see the majority of posts are designed exclusively to stroke the ego of the poster (I'm sure you know which ones I mean, I don't need to point them out), or to personally insult another poster, or to make a lame joke at another's expense... Well, the list goes on and on, yet I don't see warnings being handed out to those users. Not that I think we need more warnings, I just mean that it doesn't seem...I dunno, right to be so selective.

Regular members have flood control and they aren't complaining. I don't think this is a case of singling out. There are plenty of people that get warned, trust me. The reason they don't stick out so much is because they don't make topics about it. I'm saying to not make a topic, because everyone is entitled to that.

Not at all! You have nothing but the best of intentions, and I never doubt that. I don't feel undermined in any way, and I welcome people to question something if they feel like I've done something that needs an explanation.

As for what happened with Kryo, his punishment was extremely mild and won't last long - business as usual. What he kept posting around the forums was amusing at first but if you read through his posts you'll see that he took it a bit far and that's the only reason I chose to do anything about it. Also if you'll notice, the first time I just gave him a kind request to stop rather than outright warning him, simply because I didn't feel like it was a big enough deal to actually punish him for it, as long as he'd just stop doing it. It became a bigger deal when he continued to do it after I asked him to stop. I have a feeling that Kryo understands where I'm coming from, at least I'm hoping he does. If not, I would also hope he understands that he is always encouraged to talk to me personally about it.

Also, the flood control shouldn't be that long for anyone.

I had no idea what you even meant by flood control until you posted that screenshot. Now that I actually know what you're talking about, I can only say that it's a Jusun issue and hey, I bet it'll go away once you're off mod preview because it's possible there's some sort of a link with mod preview and posting/editing things on the non-IPB part of the site.

If you want to argue that your punishment was unfair that's fine, let's do that, but I don't see the point in arguing that we're trying to keep you from posting altogether or that we want to get rid of you.
