Any of you guys heard about it, or affected by it?

I think my little brother got salmonella, but he claims not eating any salsa or raw tomatoes for the last couple of days. Anyway I gotta take care and monitor him to see if he got the symptoms.



And just a thought, if I was a terrorist, I'd think infecting America's imports would be clever.

There was a salmonella warning on tomatoes here in california about a month ago.
Theres been no tomatoes on anything at resteraunts and at grocery stores and now i'm just starting to see them again.

My cousin kept telling me not to put tomatoes on my sub sandwiches, but I didn't listen.

I don't know anyone who has salmonella.

It affected folks here in TN. I ask where the grocers get their tomatoes now and/or ask a friend who grows them to bring me a few. So far, haven't had an outbreak.

I feel fairly secure what with a whole ocean between me, but the next county had a water parasite outbreak, and had to boil their water for a week or two. Couple of my friends got stomach problems, it was unfortunate.

here in florida we were without tomatoes for like 2 weeks. all the fast food restaurants had signs up either stating that they would not be serving tomatoes or that the tomatoes they were serving where from regions that the FDA had approved for consumption. thankfully i didn't get sick.

I hate tomatoes, so I think I'm in the clear. But, damn, we all should just scrub our food before we eat it.

Wow. Poor tomatoes. Probably the most hated fruit/veggie out there right now. I'd hate to be a tomato. D:

I'm not too worried because, like many others have said, I don't eat tomatoes often.

lol like two weeks ago, i was gonna order the tomato sandwich thing from starbucks but then i read that they took if off the menu. i was gonna cry
