Why do people drink orange juice with cereal if there's already milk to be drunken? (If I said that correctly.) Well...I don't know of anyone who actually does it, but then why do they show it in commercials?

lol well I usually never eat my cereal immersed in milk (unless it's Honey Nut Cheerios), but then again I never drink cereal with orange juice either That doesn't really answer the question though...

That just sounds gross. If I ever drink OJ, I usually don't eat when I have it. It's really sweet to me and I can have just that as a snack. I don't drink the milk after I eat my cereal, either.

Those commercials are a bit weird. Some I've seen have the bowl of cereal, with milk, a glass of orange juice, and another glass with MORE milk.
What kind of logic is that??

Maybe they just drink it after their orange juice? I know I would never eat cereal and drink it at the same time, but I don't find drinking OJ afterwards that strange.

I guess OJ is just typical breakfast fare. Though I never have it with cereal lol. There's so much milk already :P

When I read the title, I assumed that you meant people pouring orange juice over their cereal, which WOULD be odd.

Yeah, I dunno, I figure they just like drinking orange juice with breakfast. I don't personally like orange juice very much, but if I'm having a bowl of cereal I'll drink a cup of coffee along with it just because I really like coffee in the mornings. xD

Yeah, I've noticed that too. And I'm perfectly satisfied drinking my ice cold milk when the cereal's gone, no need for OJ.

I think it has something to do with demonstrating that it's "part of a complete breakfast". Other than that...beats me.

I brushed my teeth and then drank orange juice today. I was tired.
