Maybe you should pay for a real picture? Hah, well it's watermarked and I'm pretty sure that if you want to remove it that it might take a while

yeah what i do is use the clone stamp tool & a little but of the blur tool if necessary

we would just buy the picture but its $13 for it and its not like its a great quality picture.
my dad said that its fine and that we dont need the picture.
but im stubborn and decided ima take the watermark off.
(he also added that there is no way in hell that id be able to take the PROOF off which made me want to get it off even more)

Haha, no I totally understand. I think a lot places like to rip people off. Just make sure that you save the original in case you mess up a bit. Good luck.

well your dad's chin looks weird, tbh. lol & then you can tell you messed up on that kid's knee (the one right next to your dad's face). & your brother's hand. smooth out stuff like that for next time.

I think that for being a beginner with the clone tool, your work is excellent.

I used to hate the idea of cloning out watermarks in proofs, but at the overwhelming rate of pictures being taken at school for my son, I just can't support buying all of them. Unfortunately, I have to HAVE all of them. xD

yea, i noticed that right after i posted the picture.
im redoing his hand and i smoothed out the knee.
to be honest, his chin always looks wierd.

I think it looks pretty good. You can't really tell unless you're looking for something. The hand looks a little blurry and chin looks a little off, but I still think he'll be amazed when he sees it, lol.

there's also the spot healing brush tool and the healing brush tool. the work similarly to the clone brush, but they take samples of the surrounding area and try to blend it in with the rest of the picture.

i usually use the healing brushes for larger areas (like the shirt and face), and the clone brush for details (edges).
