is out!!!!!! anyone gone for a test run yet? I'm still too attached to my current settings to try anything new, but if anyone has tried the beta, let us know how those memory leaks are doing!

I downloaded Mozilla Firefox 3 Beta 4 (or 5?) weeks ago! I was disappointed that my add-ons didn't work, but I learned not to care and just stuck with it. The candidate release doesn't seem all that different from the beta, but I really like it. It's better than 2.0.

I used it for a while, but I still use Safari... It was a lot faster than FF2 and had some nice features, but I don't really like the look on Mac OS X. I haven't tried it on Linux yet to see what it looks like.

I'm actually installing it now.

I'm using it now. I like the appearance much more. But other than that its not much different.

/edit:
Actually it reminds me alot of Safari.

I kind of like the thing the developers call the "awesome bar". :)

firefox3 == kinda buggy. I recently switched back to Safari. Even though I like Firefox, there're still some bugs to work out.

Oh, that, and WebKit (Safari's rendering engine) > Gecko (Firefox's rendering engine).

I downloaded it two weeks ago, and it was VERY slow on my computer, so i'm using Opera instead.

After actually getting FF3, I can't really remember any big differences between it and FF2; it does run a little faster and is a tad sleeker, but past that, beats me. I enjoy it enough, but I'll probably switch back to Opera when I start using my main computer (in Davis) again.

its going very well for me so far.
an occasional crash now and then, but nothing to bad.

I really like the new Firefox. Some old add-ons aren't compaitble with it but Mozilla is working on fixing that. I mean, new versions will have bugs here and there. The new version in my opinion runs so much faster than the old version, not that it didn't run fast.

But I think the new version is an improvement. [:
