I think you should have an official "just blogged" thread.

And an official "Hosts looking for hostees" and "hostees looking for hosts" thread.

and you guys should start putting more of an emphasis on wordpress.

For the first two suggestions, I know that those are all things that had at one time been implemented.. Maybe someone just needs to remake those topics.

The last one I think is in part because a lot of us don't use wordpress and therefore don't visit the forum often. You're right, though, the other sites (especially LJ) are majorly losing popularity and we should definitely become more acquainted with it.

^ if you see a lot of the other popular mb's/forums where people with websites often post at,... almost all of those people use wordpress.

i think if you get some people on design staff who are extremely familiar with wordpress, you guys can expand that section and gain a wider variety of visitors.

Wordpress themes aren't up yet or like the preview isn't right, last time I checked. And there isn't anything in the queue for wordpress themes so it was rejected.

You guys need more RC staff.

If we had people around who actively posted in the RC, that would be great. That always seems to be the problem during hiring sessions.

There's a "Looking for Hosting?" pinned thread, but it reads like a BBoR type thread, with some questions/suggestions. We can either pin the topics Melissa has created OR incorporate them in the Looking for Hosting? thread. We can also add links to the new threads in the forum rules.

edit: voila You were correct, it was in showcase. Definitely more fitting in webmasters, since it isn't specific to one type of site.

or I think it never went through, after I submitted it, it just took me to a blank page with absolutely nothing and if it was rejected i weould have gotten a message right?
but on the other case I think previews for almost every section should be fixed I mean the nav bar is not updated and the details and interest sections are running on invalid tags, if you know what Im talking about :[ just a suggestions
