The debate forum has hit a new all-time low, in terms of quality and activity.

Iuno. The great debate of "Is a Tomato a fruit or a vegetable" has got to be one of our greatest and most memorable topic! It effects all the tomato-eating people of the world.

...but I don't eat tomatoes.
The debate forum has been a topic of debate for as long as I can remember. I think it has it's highs and lows, no matter where it is placed within the forums.

It's because I hate it's new location. That and there's only so much one can debate before everyone knows everyone's stance, be it right or wrong.

Well I remember how it was a little more active, when it had it's own Forum section to itself. Also closed-minded people like Tama use to post alot, and there would be lots of bickering and stuff in the Debate. But now that Jusun restructure the forum differently, and people like Tama doesn't post anymore, it pretty much died down. I remember one time checking the debate forum couple weeks ago, and there was NO new posts, not even ONE post, for like 3-4 days.

yeah that's true. since tama responded to basically every debate, and pretty much everyone in debate always disagreed with him it made for a lot more action.

I actually thought Tama's contributions to debate were interesting, however wrong I found his views to be.

What is there to debate when the statement itself is true?

I like intelligent debates. Especially with my peers because it shows my generation is interested in things that effect them and have some intelligence to them.
But then, we got a lot of teenagers that think being stupid is cute/funny or something to be proud of.

... I made that Santa Claus topic.......................
I'm not very good at presenting my views/arguments in words, so I don't contribute very much to the Debate forum. But I do love reading other people's posts...

I don't like debating with conservatives.
But then of course, there would be no need for a debate then.
