I personally chooser Usher because of his past songs, Although Usher can do better with his releases he has now. Ne-yo is ok, he wrote many songs, he is an actor, and he is like a Usher wanna-be. But Rumors has it that Ne-yo wrote some of Ushers old songs before Ne-yo became hot. So who would it be? whistling.gif

I say Usher, because he is just HOT. His Confessions album was phenomenal. I'm not a big fan of Neyo... I mean, he's got some pretty good beats, but those lyrics! Ugh. At least they make me laugh.

Yes that album was hot. I love it and copped it! =] haha but Yeah Usher all the way.

ne-yo's lyrics are so sexually charged it's like he doesn't know how to write about anything else.

usher..mm definitely had his good days. he's more appealing both physically and vocally (ne-yo trails behind by far in this category). usher's songs are also lyrically more substantial in terms of subjects or situations? and his songs (at least in the past) all varied quite a bit and aren't as similar-sounding as ne-yo's.

YOU REMIND ME OF A GIRLLLLLLLL THAT IIII ONCE KNEWWWWWWWWWW. seriously who doesn't love that song

^lmao.
i'd also have to go with usher. i remember when his confessions album came out. haha, i'm gonna go listen to it now and reminisce. hahaha. it always brings back memories.

I LOVE THAT SONG.
haha,
&& His song "Yeah" was hot at the time, people played that song at all the parties. haha but very true.
doiink
I mean the thing about Usher is that he had songs that are memorable; memorable enough for me to go down a list of his songs and be able to recall and sing out the chorus just by reading the title of the songs. His songs were unique and different, while I find the majority of ne-yo's songs just repetitive and lacking in vocal variation

T R U E !
haha Thats the same thing i was thinking.

See her face when I, I look at you. Can't believe all of the things he put me through. Which is why I just can't get with you... It went something like that, right? Haha that song was awesome.

And seriously, everyone was listening to his Confessions album. It was like, you couldn't hate any of the songs on there. They were just so good!

Ne-yo's songs are catchy, but I also agree that Usher is better. I don't think ne-yo's songs are all sexual, or at least they don't seem that way. Although, I guess I can see why some people see "Because of You" by Ne-yo as sexual.

To me they both share some qualities. But I think Usher surpasses Ne-Yo in the end. Ne-Yo has pretty good songs and whatnot. But Usher kind of just...takes it steps further.
brooklyneast05
if you've heard one of ne-yo's songs, then you've basically heard them all.

usher.
aimeesayswhat
Usher.

A better comparison is Chris Brown and Usher
Rachel
LOL, how are they even comparable? When Usher was in his prime, late 90's, he WAS the new Michael Jackson. Ne-Yo's prime is getting made fun of in a youtube animation of him and Akon.

Usher, his songs are alot better than Ne-yo though he does have good songs but overall Usher is by far the better artist. And I must say usher is hotter than Ne-Yo. NO HOMO. Ne-yo's head is huge

No its not Aimee. shush lol tongue.gif
if you compare the songs against each other
C brown's music is more hip hopish while usher is more R&B
Usher had like ONE club banger song compared to chris brown
Chris's voice can't even compare to Usher's.
Usher's is more soothing same as Ne-yo's.
If you listen to Chris Browns more slower music
i.e. No air, With You, Take You Down, or Never a Right Time to Say Goodbye his voice kinda annoys me compared to Usher's good slow songs
You Got It Bad, You Remind Me, Confessions, Burn.
Can you even compare Usher's like.. number one song Yeah to any of Chris Browns club bangers? Doubt it.
br3aker4lyfe
double post aff.. sorry.

^ haha ok philjay then you win

Depends on how you put it.

Usher's hits are usually the result of someone else writing his songs. When it comes to songwriting Neyo is far better than Usher in this category as he has written songs for Usher himself , Chris Brown, etc.

Usher's vocal ability and songs are what give him the edge. I can see my self doing da businezz wit Nice and Slow playing in the background.

Neyo's lyrics make me laugh.

I personally prefer Usher's voice over Ne-yo's, though they're both hella talented.
shortcake
Usher. personally, I don't think Ne-yo will ever be as good or equally as good as Usher.

In addition, Usher is far sexier than Ne-Yo. Especially in his prime. w00t.gif

I don't.

I'm not fond of anyone of them but I'd go with Usher.
DoubleJ
Usher. Supremely better overall in every aspect. Better singer, entertainer, and just more established.
Kristov
Usher. However, give Ne-Yo more time and we'll see what happens.
