these colors are claimed to be the hottest colors for summer.
but it's so hard to choose between these two.
which one do you prefer?
manny-the-dino
neither, imo.
but if i HAD to choose, i'd choose sliver. i think gold looks tacky.
karmakiller
I like silver. I tend to own way more silver jewlery than I do gold. I don't think silver clothing would look good on me though, my skin tone doesn't seem silver friendly.
ArjunaCapulong
Psh, forget conformity. Stick with your own style. Restricting yourself to gold or silver is lame.
Gigi
Silver, but I don't have a problem with gold either. It's all up to you. Metallics have been in for like..what the past 4 years now? Whatever works.
doiink
between the two, silver. gold is too flashy for my taste.
Janette
I think gold tends to be tacky, too, for both clothes and jewelry. Silver is a bit tacky, too (for clothes in my opinion). But to me, silver comes across as a lot less tacky in both situations. I'd prefer anything silver over anything gold any day.
StubbornFemme
i personally love silver over gold.
The-March-Hare
I own one item of clothing in either of those colours, namely a silver tie. Other than that, I would steer well clear of either of them.

Oh. My piercings are silver, too.
Kay-
gold.

haha i was just about to say that
JokeInsideJoke
silver. i have always loved silver more than gold. and i think that gold is to over-rated.
na-nancy
wow, that's a hard choice.
both of them looks great, depending on what and how you're wearing
it with a certain outfit and color.
=)
angelrevelation
I usually go with silver, but gold can look nice if it's a burnished kind of bronze-y gold.
JokeInsideJoke
and i totaly dont get the difference between white gold and silver rolleyes.gif
only-tuesdays
The difference between white gold and silver is all in the quality. White gold is much higher quality. Silver will tarnish and all kinds of nasty stuff over time. White gold is just another type of gold. And Platinium is even better.

I prefer silver. But only for jewelry. As for clothing I don't like metalics.
Joss-eh-lime
in general i like gold, but i think this summer i'd go with silver.

i prefer silver. Gold makes it seem like ur trying to hard...
AnnahhbeL
Ohh, gold or silver flats are awesome!
Both are nice if you can pull it off a certain way. thumbsup.gif
AmourAmorx
I'm not much of a gold fan, so silver. I agree with some of the others when they say gold looks tacky, silver just has a professional look to it.

BUTTTT, gold is good for some occasions.
Insurmountable
Neither, but if I had to choose then I would choose silver.
Rachel
They both look equally good on me, so I don't have a preference. In fact, I have on a silver ring on one hand and a gold ring on the other. I think it really depends on the person and their skin tone.
DeviantShadows
Silver; I've never really liked gold.
lilnatcat
I don't think I have any gold coloured jewellery at all.... maybe because its too flashy for me & it doesn't suit my skin tone considering that I'm asian. I own a lot of silver coloured jewellery instead, hve none in gold coz it looks so tacky on me....
S-Majere
I tend to wear silver, but either looks tacky on fabric.
Kristov
Depends on what you're wearing.
thatonegirl143
are talking about clothing wise or jewelry wise?? well..i guess either way..i choose silver. haha. or white gold if we're talking jewelry "]
kyarii
silver ! gold looks too err.. flashy?

White gold is better. (:
Hedonism
Silver for Jewelry, Gold for clothing.
9001
It depends on what item has that color.

Silver for Jewelry, Gold for clothing.

Though I think I wear gold more.
coconutter
I hate gold for jewelry, and I like silver for clothes also, but not too flashy.
TheExoticPeachFairy
Gold looks better on me than silver. And it brings out what I wear too. So I'll go for gold. =D
freeridefight
Gold. Def.
Katalyzt
silver or white gold.
jennypie
I used to wear virtually all silver jewelry but have been transitioning into gold and every new piece that I have bought recently is gold.

What exactly is white gold? My boyfriend wants to give me a white gold ring for my engagement to him but I really want to know which is better; white gold or gold? mellow.gif
xCANDiiESx
I prefer white gold/silver. I don't like gold
Butterflyphoenix
depends on the occasion. For casual wear, I'd perfer silver. But sometimes when it's formal, I would have to go with gold, though there times when silver can be elegant.
souperstar
I like silver, personally. I think it goes with more stuff.

wow, i am so late answering this. lol.

its a mixture of a gold metals and white metals, more the gold metals then the white. i'm not too sure about the gold, but i know that white gold rings have this protective finishing so it looks clean and shiny and all that, but i think after a while it might start wearing out. the jewelers usually tell people to get an annual cleaning/retouch with their white gold jewelry.

but besides that i don't think there's a better one. like for me, i don't like gold, so i prefer silver/white gold.
