I did a search and didn't see something for online gaming in general (and most of the MMO threads are pretty old).

I used to play City of Heroes/Villains a lot until I decided to take a break a few months back. It would suck up so much of my time, it was really pathetic.

-moved to Technology (since the ladies like to play as well :P)

Haha I used to play that all the time back in 2003-2004. There were a lot of people playing, back then, and people couldn't "pay" for anything with gold coins or w/e. You had to win a lot to get gold, especially with money suits.


I used to play Tetris on this online gameroom place. Man, there used to be all these really good Tetris players, then the site and gamerooms all went downhill, so no one plays there anymore. :[ Damn, this used to be back in middle + high school years, lol.


My boyfriend used to play CounterStrike, Starcraft (online), Final Fantasy 11, and WoW. I think he played some other stuff too, but I'm too lazy to ask.

I mess around on Runescape every once in a while. Its fun to play sometimes, but if you play it too much you get bored.

.... yea, picking for gems/metals. I remember my nephew playing back when I was in middle school, a la 2002, and it was hella boring. Yes, HELLA BORING. He eventually realized it was just a waste of time after playing for like, two months. I never really understood what was so great about it, but I guess you can't complain since it's free.

For warhammer, are you talking about the mmo, because that's scheduled to come out at the end of this year, but was pushed to the beginning of next year, so you'll probably see it second quarter 2009.

Of couse everyone plays online games, they are fun, entertaining and easy. Also you dont have to install them in your computer

A friend of mine is planning to try warhammer. The name puts me off though. haha

Oh and my boss wants me to play WoW. Since I'm about ready to take up the onling gaming thing again, I might try it out. I played for a brief while a long time ago and wasn't really smitten, so we'll see.

steven seems like u have your hands full but try "warrock" its like cs but betttter and free.

It being free and browser based were the only reasons I played it.

I think in 2002 it was still the 2-D Runescape 1.

I get on Runescape also. But only at night when I have nothing better to do. I used to be wayyy too much into it, then I quit doing it for a long time and gave my account to a friend. He made it a member and he's still paying for members to this day, so we basically share the account. I suppose that's why it's so good now.

Some of it was 3-d, but when you enter buildings, it feels like you're walking through paper. Where it seems like buildings are being cut through once you enter them. I don't know how to explain it.

It didn't seem really interesting to me. Even WoW looks more interesting, but since it is free, you can't complain.. haha. MMORPGs aren't really my thing. *goes back to playing on her DS*

I know some people here have played FlyFF. I've never played it.

MMOs can be fun sometimes. But the majority of them suck. If I find a halfway decent one thats free though, I tend to stick with it for a short amount of time.

i'm trying to get on family feud online right now but it's being gey.

survival project was awesome ;O i kinda miss it.

Last game I played regularly was WoW, account has been gathering dust the last few months. Before that I played Diablo 2, that was probably my favorite computer game. I still play DoTA from time to time, but not that often anymore since my friends don't play it anymore and I hate gaming alone.

I stick to xbox 360 thank you.
