Being a runner of a forum myself, I understand completely the use of an admin.

Id just like to say, that As I only signed up on this forum today, I didnt know where to post as this forum is fairly unorganized.

I posted in 2 sections, and in this sectioni did say at the top of my post the reason for two topics..

So why did you lock the one i would have wanted to keep?
Power trip? just to be awkward?

IMO Very bad moderating, simply deleting the other topic in the other section would have been more beneficial.

I just think this was totally unnecessary, especially when im offering your members some work.

If I could, Id like this amended and my topic unlocked. Either that, or the work will be offered to a different forum as I dont have time to waste moderators on a power trip to sort themselves out.

Im sure you will see that it was a stupid thing to do and will amend it shortly.

Thanks for reading, hope it makes you think abit more before you act in the future, as I could have already had someone working on this today if you had left it alone.
Although I can pretty much guarantee this topic will be deleted.. childish.

The Community Guidelines clearly state that cross-posting is not allowed on these fourms. You posted your topic in Myspace Support, which it clearly didn't belong. It belonged in the Requests topic in the Designer's Cafe... I left that topic there, but closed the one in Myspace Support. Why you ask? Simply because it's not asking for help. You're just making a request for someone to make you a Myspace Layout. Which is completely understandable. That isn't why it was closed. It's just there is no need for two topics. We have a lot of members here. They would post in one of your topics, and in the other they would be like, "didn't you have this same post in Designer's Cafe?? huh.gif"

Hope you understand. This isn't about power tripping. I'm just following the guidelines.

POINTLESS POSTS
To enhance the experience of these forums, please do not post just for the sake of posts counts. We care more about what you say than how many times you can hit the "add reply" button. This includes repeated posts (even in different threads), and anything unrelevant to the topic at hand.

As gay as Thomas can be (pun intended), he usually is a rulesy person and has reason for doing things in the RS. Now if he were insinuating that something in the CC should be closed, I would completely understand and encourage the criticism, but seeing as it was in the RS (I assume), get over it.

Sorry for stressing I just need this as soon as possible and I hate mods that throw their weight around making peoples life awkward.

Again, my apologies.

But your topic wasn't moved; it was closed. When a topic is moved, it is indicated by an image next to the topic title. Also, mods usually make a post saying "Moved to [section here]" when that happens.

Kreios did the right thing. You should have read the rules and then figured out that any requests your supposed to leave in this topic: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=192328

Even though you may have ran or run a forum, each forum is different. We have our own way about doing things, just as you may.
