So i've been best friends with this guy since I was about 4. We were next door neighbors and did. EVERYTHING together. We even got married when we were like 5. haha. Anyways, when we were 10 he moved about an hour away, and I didn't see him as much but i still saw him every 2 months or so. THen he moved back and he lives like 5 minutes away. Now we are almost 16 and I see him every few months. My problem is, I've been in love with him since I was like 5 and I really don't know if he feels the same way. We are always flirty and have physical contact. Last summer I almost thought we would be together because we were acting like something was going to happen, and then he flipped out and told me I should workout with him and get in shape. (I'm a little overweight, but not too bad.) He really isn't shallow but it just seems to me like he realized he was starting to like me, and he didn't want to because i was overweight or something!? Anyways, hes also always bragging to me about his "hot girlfriends with abs", and hes not even that hot. He is cute, but not like OMG! But now I really don't know what to do, because i have a boyfriend but all I really want is to be with my best friend, and I'm afraid to put myself out there and ruin our friendship. My mom and my sister are convinced he loves me back, but I really dont know. What do i do!? and how do i tell if he wants me back!? any advice will help. and yes, I know i shouldnt be with my boyfriend if i like my best friend, but I also like my boyfriend....i just really would rather be with my best friend. ah. help me!
ps, sorry if this doesnt make much sense, im typing this in a hurry!!

Tell you're best friend.
Never date a guy you don't like more than another guy. So break up with the boyfriend.

Maybe he's not all that great if he thinks you should lose weight. I mean if you love someone, shouldn't it be unconditional? Ehhh.
You shouldn't be with your boyfriend if you're thinking of another guy, especially since you love him. It isn't fair [to your boyfriend]. Take a risk & see what's up with your best friend. If it's mutual, that's great! If it's not, you guys should be fine since you've been best friends for so long.
Good luck :]

agreed, but anyway....
i agree, tell him. break up with your current boyfriend after you tell him. though, after you tell your best friend and whether he rejects you or not, youll probably want to break up with your current boyfriend anyway.
he probably does like you if you thought things were going somewhere and he back away. you wont know anything for certain till you tell him

just your hormones talking... do you really want to lose your best friend over a little thing like a relationship? which would probably not last more then a month... think about it.
you've known him for a long time you really willing to give that all up if things go wrong?

He probly doesnt wana call you fat to your face since you guys are best friends. Honestly even if I was friends with a girl for a long time and she is nice I still wouldnt date her if shes fat.
My advice is to lose wait and break up with your boyfriend and see if he comes. More girls should starve themselves if you ask me.

At the age of 5?
And I doubt you're in love with him. I bet IF you get together, you'll realize that you guys don't get along, and you'll cry your ass off.
Like a bad movie ending or something.
