There are several options you have, you can edit your controls to not see anyone's signature all together, or you can block each image individually. The people's signatures which you are referring to are pg-13 images. They do not break any rule here, so we cannot remove them. You can block them, or you can change your settings so you do not see them. That is all that we can offer.

I don't about you, but I wouldn't want any 13-year-old, or younger, seeing the image in your signature. That's why it's not PG-13.

A PG-13 rating is a sterner warning by the Rating Board to parents to determine whether their children under age 13 should view the motion picture, as some material might not be suited for them. A PG-13 motion picture may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities or other elements, but does not reach the restricted R category. The theme of the motion picture by itself will not result in a rating greater than PG-13, although depictions of activities related to a mature theme may result in a restricted rating for the motion picture. Any drug use will initially require at least a PG-13 rating. More than brief nudity will require at least a PG-13 rating, but such nudity in a PG-13 rated motion picture generally will not be sexually oriented. There may be depictions of violence in a PG-13 movie, but generally not both realistic and extreme or persistent violence. A motion picture’s single use of one of the harsher sexually-derived words, though only as an expletive, initially requires at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive requires an R rating, as must even one of those words used in a sexual context. The Rating Board nevertheless may rate such a motion picture PG-13 if, based on a special vote by a two-thirds majority, the Raters feel that most American parents would believe that a PG-13 rating is appropriate because of the context or manner in which the words are used or because the use of those words in the motion picture is inconspicuous.

Becka, I understand your concern, and this is being discussed Backstage right now. Have you changed your settings to hide signatures?

i'm really not wanting to be a troll or anything, but there are a few siggy's around here that are really...not appropriate. they don't show major nudity or anything, but IMO, they're disgusting.
it really bothers me because i have to be really careful about what topics I can look at when my parents are home, and even then, they're usually in there somewhere.

just for the record, i don't have a major problem with the signatures themselves. i'm arguing that, although they are a bit inappropriate, the main problem is the fact that i (and probably others) are limited to the use of the forum when adults are around.
yep. if i would have remembered that it was possible, i wouldn't have even brought it up.

The problem is that words like "disgusting" are highly subjective. I can't reprimand people for signatures based exclusively on someone else's dislikes.

I don't care for some of the signatures either (although I don't think that they're disgusting. lol I just don't care for them), but same thing. I'm not going to tell someone to get rid of a signature because it isn't aesthetically pleasing to me.

Bottom line, they're not breaking the PG13 guideline. The images are suggestive, not blatant. My suggestion would be to either disable viewing signatures or ignore the individuals that have signatures you are displeased with.
I apologize, but those are really the only options I see at the moment.
