Hmm.. Not that I know of. I haven't seen any local designers. Are you looking for one that has their own boutique and whatnot? Are you by any chance a graduate for FIDM or anything?

i'm still in high school, and i need to set up my own internship for my next school year. I was thinking about going to FIDM and discuss with them because they have accepted students from my school before.

i was kinda thinking something a little smaller like a boutique though, because it seems more realistic.

I think you should check out Hillcrest. Okay, yes it is notorious for being full of gay people ( :D ), but I've heard they have a lot of little boutiques there. Just beware of the parking, that's all.

You should talk to FIDM anyways. They're always willing to talk to potential students & who knows what'll happen after that. I think the name of the admissions officer lady is....Lizette Lizardo. She's emailed me a couple times & even called my cell (I think she had the number from collegeboard? idk). PM me for her email address.
