Do you mean giving cB as a WHOLE a bad name? I mean think about about it: If someone randomly came to createBlog, they'd probably look at the layouts/graphics/scripts/tutorials or go to the resource center. What are the chances of them clicking on the Rated R forum? I don't think cB would be given a bad name
Which brings up another idea - Maybe you can set up the forum so that only members can view the Rated R forums. That way, spectators won't be able to view it, and know nothing about it.
I only suggest this if you do consider having such a forum, which doesn't not really interest me that much (but there is a chance that it could in the future, depending on what content is posted in it).

I think it would give the forums a bad name. I don't really think it woudl affect the resources section. Those are like two COMPLETELY different sides of CB.
When I see a forum that has a rated R board, I think less of the forum. Plus, it might seem like we are trying to use the R rated board to attract more people to the forums.
Just my opinion...
