OPI Nail Envy (Maintenance). It's surprisingly shiny and the shine lasts for WEEKS if it doesn't chip off...and it's not even marketed as a top coat.

For the record, I HATE HATE HATE Seche Vite top coat and Sally Hansen Megashine. They peel off within hours (even after I've freshly removed polish with acetone), and imparts a blue cast that's super noticeable on nude polishes. Don't get the hype.

Trying to grow out my nails...if exam stress doesn't get to me and cause me to bite my cuticles, that is :(

Oh nooooo, that sponge technique never worked for me. This was much simpler in my opinion. I just painted the silver layer first and before it completely dries, I paint the very tip with a blue nail polish. Before that layer dries also, I used another blue (lighter but still pretty dark) and went over the silver and the first blue. The silver showed up because second blue was pretty sheer. And if it doesn't turn out gradient-y enough I light dabbed some more silver.

Dunno if you understand what I just said haha O_O
