ok, simple question. what do you think is the best way to learn PHP? I understand the basics, like how to use it and I can edit things if I have instructions. other than that, I have no clue what it is, etc... i'm planning to do some major updating with my website and I really want to learn PHP. all opinions appreciated. :]

buy a book. it's how i learned. personally, i recommend the one that i can't remember the name of...
//edit: nevermind, i found it. it's called "PHP and MySQL Web Development," by Luke Welling & Laura Thomson, 3rd Edition
www.w3schools.com is a great place. I always go there for help.
IMO, you don't need to learn everything. First learn the basics, like variables, arrays, functions, ect... Once you know the basics, the rest is kinda learning off of that. Learn what you need to know for your site, and not a bunch of extra stuff you will never need. Do you get what I am saying?
