indiana jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull. so who saw it? did you like it? what did you like or dislike about it?
i went and saw it since i'm a hardcore indiana jones fan. i even considered wearing my indiana jones hat.

i thought it was good, but i know a lot of people who were pissed and thought it was
stupid. i thought the fact that it was so far "out there" is what made it work. it's ridiculous and unrealistic, but how is a film about 60+ year olds swinging through the jungle on an alien hunt
NOT going to be ridiculous? the reunion between marion and indiana made the movie in my opinion. i think those who disliked it are those people who
for some reason went in there thinking it was going to be another lost ark or last crusade.
i don't think i'm ever going to be able to watch shia labeouf without thinking of even stevens on disney channel...

Just saw it. Wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing either. The end bit threw me off to be honest, but meh.
And Shia is just too damn cute and reminds me of Transformers all the time now.

I haven't seen it. And honestly I don't want to. Theres no way it could do justice to the originals.

Agreed. I could see why people would think it was a flop but I've never got into any plot involving aliens. I guess it would be the right era and the history of what they told was interesting.
Except somethings still don't sit will with me :[
Okay even if Fridge is lead or whatever, its a f**king nuclear blast and he didn't become deaf or any injuries while getting blasted away?! I know it's Indiana Jones, blah blah so I'll let that go I guess.Omgwtf Shia swinging on vines? o_o;
I thought the ending for that russian woman was SOO LAME :x Especially the fact that I kept thinking of borat everytime she spoke

LOL. when that was going on i was like uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
and yeah, i think it woulda been about 21 times better if the subject matter had kept away from aliens.

You mean as opposed to immortality, mind controlling blood, and face melting stone tablets?
Its the logical progression for Indy and his fantastic adventures. It had all the tomb raiding, all the adventure, and it had a crazy, although somehow explainable, plot. Harrison Ford still plays Indiana wonderfully; cocky, funny, who every nerd wants to be. Shia is a great addition to the cast, with an obvious bit of Indy in him with his wisecracking. The return of Marion was great, and her and Indy's chemistry is as hilarious as ever.
Yeah, there was some out of the box stuff, but it is Indiana Jones. The only thing I can consider completely cheesey is the vine swinging thing. But other than that everything was just funny and awesome.
Not the best of the series obviously, but a great addition.

I thought the movie was good, and I caught it on opening night. I think that it was well balanced, and it had a little of everything in it. Spieldberg did a wonderful job as usual. Shia really surprised me in a good way.

Okay, my confession: I'm not an Indiana Jones fan.
I've seen some of the older ones, but I don't think I'd be able to make a good comparison to them verses the new one.
Shia LeBeouf deffinitely looks better now than his Even Stevens day

Yeah, I was thinking DISNEY! when I saw shia.
I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed by the ending. Well, not the ending ending...just the adventure part. (Don't want to spoil the movie for others)
& for the whol dry-sand/quicksand thing, I love how they incorporated the snake. It complete the movie in my opinion.

I've always hated ants and the red ant scene: GAG.
shia's little hair obsession was pretty cute and in general the movie was good enough to entertain me for my saturday night. I didn't have high expectations so NO LET DOWNS!
Yeah I kinda went to watch the movie for some mother-daughter bonding purposes

I think the movie was alright, I mean personally I just never put Indiana Jones and aliens together. I kind of wish it went along with something else besides aliens. So yep, other than the whole alien thing, I enjoyed it.

i'm getting a serious crush on shia here.
the movie was entertaining for me.
and i mean, it's harrison ford, he'll always be indiana jones.
even though he was 60+ years old in this film, he still kicked some ass.
the whole alien thing was kinda weird, but i liked it. worth the 10 bucks.

Am I the only one who found Harrison more, and by more I mean LEAPS AND BOUNDS more, attractive that shitty Shia? Ugh, Shia just looked like such a douche when he first rolled up on the motorcycle.
Anyway, everything I felt about the movie is summed up in ThunderEvermores post. Really, I thought the movie was good. It was fun, action-y, full of cocky Indiana Jone's lines. I loved the Jones and Marion interaction and enjoyed jokes about his age and snakes. I mean, I don't think anyone was expecting it to be THE BEST IN THE SERIES EVER, so I didn't go into it having the highest hopes. In the end, I was pleasantly satisfied and it made me want to watch them all again <3.

since in the end shia picks up the Hat...
I DOUBT that it will last...

A) Not second...5th dumbass
B) Shia has gone on record saying he wouldn't do another Indiana Jones with Harrison Ford. Plus, Indiana takes the hat out of his hands and tells him yeah right (or something like that), SO NO.

i'm a indiana jones fan...and an even more obsessed fan of shia.
he rocks my ! when i "drool" over him my bf just shakes his head. lol
anyways, it was good but not amazing like what christina said.
but at the time where i just saw it, i was blinded by shia's performance that i was singing its praises. lol. i was expecting it to be better...it couldve been if it wasn't rushed.
