i'm really pissed off, seeing as i've never even seen his page before and yknow, JUST because he vexeled Sweeney Todd before, doesn't make him the guru-demon of Sweeney Todd vexels.

How about the fact that yours is better? He's probably just jealous. Is he trying to pursue the removal of your graphic on DA? That's just stupid that he's trying to say that you stole his ideas.. He wasn't the first to vector Sweeney Todd, nor will you be the last. Is he trying to say that everyone that makes a Sweeney Todd vector is a theif?

Dude, even if you guys used the same-ish image as a reference (because OH MY GOD THAT SO NEVER HAPPENS), your vexel is way better. I don't know what he's going all crazy about.

first of all, you can't steal someone's idea that wasn't his to begin with. all he did was trace a photo of a celebrity - pretty much what most vectors / vexels are.

or...you could take into the fact that his isn't even a true vexel. as far as i know, his is simply a drawing and he used the gradient tool with a couple of brushes he didn't create (nor did he credit). vexels are layers upon layers (which yours is), and not just an outline. that, and his is poorly colored and the hairline is askew. oopsies, alvin.

lol, that's pretty common around DA. There are people who are willing to scream "copy" at any similarity between two pieces. It's annoying, but something you learn to get used to. :P
