anyway anybody has heard of unwritten-lyts.net? if so then you'll know they jock content from from CB, and other popular sites.
Examples:
This layout's background was stolen from gigabyte's DIV
This layout's background was stolen from Atomic Affliction's Music DIV
This layout's background was stolen from Luku's DIV
This layout's background was stolen from Atomic Affliction's DIV

I'm sure theres more content thats jocked from CB user's layouts but the ones above is all that i found.

They also stole from atomic affliction

I've tried contacting them about it, to receive no answer back even if their contact page states the following

Ahem, sorry about the move-hopping there but I decided on the Feedback forum.

Unfortunately, a lot of amateur sites decide they can't be bothered to put in the effort and create layouts and scripts themselves and so steal from better internet resource sites. I believe that Jusun (CB's creator) has already had several legal issues with regards to stolen content - this is just another example.

There's not much we can do short of contacting the site webmaster - as you have done - and hoping that having been found out, he will take down that which is not his to redistribute. Other than that, it's up to Jusun and the webmaster at Atomic Affliction as to whether they both wish to pursue things further.

Nice catch though - Now that you've found this site out, their reputation is down the pan with the designing community.

what is so stupid about it is that myspacepro forums offers freebies to huge sites that don't make their own content.
If i wasn't so into the fact that I like my site to be on content made by me, i would surely purchase packs and grab freebies.

Yeah, it's pretty unfair. These 'leacher-sites' have no credibility whatsoever.

I just left the following comment:
"Way to steal layouts from other sites. I'm glad to see that you are so proud of posting jocked content. We'll make sure to spread the word around about the lack of integrity this site appears to endorse."

I tried to leave a comment that says, "Way to jock from CreateBlog just because you're not talented or honest enough to create your own work," but I got the "invalid friend ID" message. Loser must have shut their MySpace down now that they've been found out. Baha.

Seriously, I don't think they realize how closely knit the design community is. Their credibility is completely gone. Leeching traffic away from CB is a pointless effort anyway, because more people are going to come here based on Google ranks anyway. It's just an annoyance that a person or group of people can be so immature as to try to benefit from another site's success by copying them.

I can't tell you how amny times we have brought jocking up, but seriously if Ju-Sun takes action against everyone it would be a huge mess

Why did they have to take so much of my stuff? I have seriously tried everything to get them to at least respond to me and I've gotten nothing. The problem isn't necessarily that I keep submitting to CB...Most of the stuff they took from me isn't even on here. I've actually threatened legal action and they just ignored that too. I even reported them to their host and got them suspended for about an hour, but that obviously didn't do much...

I informed Atomic of the jocking. I figure all we can do is tell the designers of the layouts and let them handle it (if they want to).

But this is horrible. Jockers are lower than dirt.

Well twistedd steals from other people too (they had my divs up for awhile), so it doesn't really make itsirrational stealing from them seem as bad. Plus, they responded to me and offered to credit which is more than most people do. It's just a never ending chain of stealing. Where I got involved, I'll never understand.

It looks like the site's back up, but on the plus side I can't see any of CB's submitted layouts on their pages. There are still stolen comment boxes and codes, though.

I hate all these graphic myspace sites. They all look alike, set up the same, and have the same style. Also they steal. You know how many times I've seen a layout like this?

To most of these 'myspace resource' sites their idea of gathering resources is going to photobucket and typing in a few keywords.

Go ahead do it yourself. Type in 'Scene', 'Diamond', 'Music', etc and see what you get. Everything on those sites can be found right on photobucket. Not to mention almost all of their photography are pictures taken from actual artists on Deviantart, people that took time and effort to take or make the picture.

Sure they have hundreds of resources, but 95% of it are from third parties.

And you know what makes me laugh? I actually forgot about Unwritten until this was bumped, so I went back and found myself reading their "About Unwritten" page. This is what they wrote:

"Unwritten Layouts strives to provide new, fresh, and only original content made by our own dedicated team, every day."



As for itsirrational, they actually talked to me about using my div layouts for backgrounds. I told them that as long as they credit and don't take the WHOLE layout, it's ok.

Shocking....that site(unwritten) is claimed to be one of the best,because of its loads of content and it gets a ton of visitors but i guess we all know why it has so much content...

Okay so whats actually funny is the link,leads to links where they jock from.and theyre telling people to 'check them out'.
I dont know about the genious at unwritten,but if I were a jocker,which,im NOT,I wouldnt post links to where I jocked from.theyre giving theirselves away.I contacted their host,they were only shutoff for 10 minutes.
