Aren't they just not illegal? What I got out of it was that they'd soon be legal, but aren't yet. Regardless though, great news!

I don't have a problem with them at all. To each his own in my opinion.

Well it's about damn time. California is supposedly one of the most liberal states, so I was surprised that this was illegal for as long as it was.
Hahaha, I remember voting for
Gary Coleman when Davis was ousted. lol (I know, throw away vote, but I wasn't supportive of the Governator, at least he (Coleman) got more votes than
Gallagher hahaha).

well i'm fine with same-sex marriages. i mean everyone should find love regardless of who it's with, right?

i think everyone should be happy. i really don't have anything against this.
you guys are probably like wtf considering i'm catholic & believe in same-sex marriage. lol. but i don't always agree with

Honestly I don't really care, if that's the lifestyle you choose & wish to unionize then fine. Today's society is more open to anything nowadays. I just know it doesn't affect me in any kind of way so it's the least of my worries.

Wow. It took so long to finally decide which is very surprising.
Now, we will have a flood of gay epidemic in our state where all the gaylords will rush to California to pursuit the best life at the best state where we have great beaches, food, and whether.
It’s really interesting about the mind of Californian. We’re probably the most diverse state of the country considering the fact that we are located by the Pacific Ocean next to Mexico and receive Asians from Asia + more immigrants. We’re becoming more cultural accepting … and now we’re accepting gay. Wow, that’s just wow.
I'm not against or for homosexual. It amazes me how we, as Americans, as Californian accept these extremely sensitive controversial issues about homosexuality that had been going on, on, on and on … for many centuries throughout the history.

This is a wonderful day. We'll look back on this one day like we look back on segregation and anti-miscegenation laws.

LMAO. That reminds me. There's these lesbian lovers at school in the French Department. They're like in their 50s or 60s and my cousin told me about them and I was like "wow, I didn't know old people could be lesbians."
Eh.

These two women came into register at work today, and before one of them would confirm an appointment for something, she said she had to check with her partner. I was so entertained. And pleased. We don't exactly get black lesbian couples around here too often. Not racist. Just saying.

if you look at the polls, 59% oppose it. but then again, you have to be some sort of idiot to have AOL. probably the worse internet connection ever. to all of those who have AOL, i'm sorry?
anyway, FINALLY!!!!!!! I knew we had "civil marriages" but they weren't official, but now that PEOPLE are finally allowed their rights to friggin marry the person they love, it makes me proud that california isn't another "all talk, no walk" state. i feel like it's the 1920s and women are fighting for their right to vote.
it's honestly really sad that people are fighting marriage. as if their marriage is so goddamn holy. the divorce rate is already 60%, please. if a guy wants to marry a guy, what the hell is the big deal?! they're citizens.
thanks for sharing this elba! it made my night. :D
not allowing gays to marry is like saying the country won't allow people who prefer Aryans over any other race to marry. so ridiculous. mother a$$holes man.

I am so happy!
Finally my people can be treated as actual citizens. America needs to realize that this ban on Gay Marriage is almost parallel to the Jim Crow Laws. One of the laws said that whites and blacks could not marry each other. Instead it's a man and a man/woman and a woman who can't get married. It's absolutely amazing how oppressive we still are of some minorities.
Damn Puritans.
This is what happens when you establish a nation on sexual frustration and religon.

i think gay marriage should be allowed anywhere, were are so stupid not to, this is just like the whole "Black Slavery" thing (sorry about that by the way, im white so i feel i have to apologize) its just wrong not to allow adults not to do what they want when it seams perfectly legal! and i dont think gay sex is a sin!
of corse im not gay, im perfectly straight! JSYK!
