i didn't see anything regarding this in the forums so i'm assuming maybe it hasn't been noticed.

i just submitted a layout, and when i previewed it, a couple of tables that weren't supposed to be there suddenly appeared. cb's myspace preview page code is outdated, and there are actually a couple spelling errors in the classes, so some tables that should vanish stay there.

it would be pointless to adjust layouts to compensate for the errors in cb's code, since they'll just add to load times on myspace and won't change anything there. i'm thinking perhaps cb should update the myspace preview page. off hand, i remember the "interestsAndDetails" table was written as "intrestsAndDetails"

yup Some of CBs layout previews dont work because of the fact that the classes are in fact outdatdated but people dont really care becuase most people are aware of that fact:] lol :]

If your layout looks messed up in the preview, add a note about that in the Designer's Comments to let people know that the layout will look fine once the codes are installed.

There isn't really that much that is an issue. There are a few tables but thats it. If you code correctly, usually there isn't any problem in the previews.

But I do agree, that they should be updated.

it actually ends up being that if i code correctly according to myspace's current profile layout, then those extra tables show up in the cb preview. i'm using display:none; to get rid of all the tables i don't want.

Jusun is the one who would have to update them. For now I would suggest adding a comment that it works.

I've been wanting an update on the previews for a while now. I think it's especially important now that myspace has re-done its entire navigation system, as well as renamed some of the sections, etc.
