I bought a poofy dress for prom and I'm a frequent dancer. I love to dance. How do you "fast" dance/grind with a poofy dress?
Serious question...I don't want to sit out during the fast dances.

HAHA, I have to deal with that this friday.

okay so I'm probably just going to flatten it out with my hands/hold down the poofy part and just dance. yeah...nothing revolutionary...

I guess you'd just dance as usual, but have less crotch contact? LOL. The poofiness would probably create a barrier. I like to think that that's a good thing.

Unless it's constricting your legs (which I'm guessing it is), just dance normally? Just be careful not to get any rips, unless you don't really care about that or anything. Uhh, I've never really tried dancing in a poofy dress, since I've never gotten those types of dresses during prom. :s

With grace and poise. What else?

My mom had my dress altered to my shoe height not my height. I'm afraid to trip over. People told me to lift it. ehh...I have no idea how it's going to work.

I think once you get there and start dancing everything will just fall into place.
Do you have a picture of the dress by chance? I mean I put on a poofy dress once and I just remember how heavy it was at the bottom >_> So I mean if its the same way, I could see it being really hard to dance in.

Is it very long as well? You would probably just have to hold it up, but don't make it so obvious, I guess. It's definitely doable, dependong on how poofy it is. I've seen people just grasp it up in front of their legs. lol it kind of reminds me of Marilyn Monroe. You know, with the wind up. Except, with no wind...
