never remembered, never born, never suffered, never loved.
and i, who peer into the glass will forget you like them,
one erased etch, one smudge of ink on my palm, one life gone.
so if you truly wish to never be remembered to be forgotten
and to never be celebrated or feared or cursed
go down.
but know... that where we are is the last stand of those possibilities,
and the only one in your way... is you.

That was such a lovely read. I like the rhythm that you set. It's simple enough to read, relaxing even but at the same time, there's a lot of emotion going on here.
