Um, in know for a fact that administrators can delete usernames. I did it all the time, back when I was administrator. It's not that difficult, t just requires a copy and paste of the username and a click. Pretty much. But I guess it's the depends on the decision of whether an admin decides to delete the username or not.

We are not able to do that anymore. The reason is that the forum accounts are linked with the cb4 profile/resource/submission system. So while we CAN delete accounts from the ACP, it causes problems with cb4, and we have therefore been asked not to.

However, Jusun has said that in the future he will have a way for users to delete their own accounts.

I agree with you, and that's something we should have been more thorough on. Upon further discussion, it became apparent that a good number of us even thought she was applying for design staff in the first place. I know this isn't an excuse, but her interview was one of the last ones in, so there was much less time for discussion and I apologize for that.
