well people in my skoool conside a bandana to be a hat.. and like NO it is not,... that must make me think that they are on some sort of drugs...

andi mean people still wear hats regardless what they say.. so why souldnt we have hats in skool... we're just gonna do it any way so HA hahah

i mean yah.. people where hats and get them, tookn away.. and more people star to bring them .... so whats the use....

Well with a hat its "easier" to sleep in class since the teacher cant see your eyes you can pretent to be reading the book. Also hat colors and design can also represent a gang or related, my school thinks so. BUt yeah hats are allowed at my school just some colors arent allowed.

bandanas are somewhat considered to be gangster related. at the high school here, you're allowed to wear hats to school, as long as you take it off before entering the buildings. so, yeah. i don't know what's wrong with it; maybe teachers consider it a distraction or some signs of disrespect or something. they come up with reasons and such. dunno.

We're not allowed to wear hats in my school but in highschool, I think you can. I wouldn't know.

at my school they wont let us wear hats or bandannas or any kinda of hair covering... cuz they think it might mean *gang sign* or wutever... but i dont think its nessercery to wear hats in the classroom.... why would you need it for? like when you go outside... sure... but why would you need to wear them inside?

we have a hat day where every last friday of the month we are allowed to wear hats. i think i look good in a hat. dont you??

1) Some hats, and some colors on hats might offend others.
2) Hats simply distract you in class, sometimes.
3) It's easier to snooze in class, and not be caught with a hat on..

Yea hats don't really help you go to sleep and not get caught... I never get caught when i sleep. I don't care really. Hat's serve no purpose indoors except for fashion. If i don't need it then why want it?

why would you need to wear hats in school? it'd be alright if u were out in the sun or something but its useless in a classroom. also if u wear it in the classroom, it might distract other ppl from working or something

Okk, I hadn't realized circumstances such as those.. in those cases where there's a real reason why hats might be disruptive, then I would agree that hats shouldn't be allowed..

However, I highly doubt that these circumstances are present in high percentages..

My friend dyed her hair green (it was mucho awesome) but she was called to the office and had to go home because a teacher called it a distraction.
It was Kool-aid so she used a real dye over it (a natural blonde) and returned to school the next day.

I don't see why we need uniforms.. If kids make fun of you for clothes you wear, they are very immature and should just go back to elementary school or somewhere to grow up.

but people should be able to wear them. By taking your hat off you are being forced to show respect to your state because a school is a federally run institution. If you respect your country then you shouldnt wear a hat. But if you do wear a hat then you are breaking the contract your parents agreed to when they sent you there. so if you choose to dishonor your parents by making their word mean nothing, then so be it.

i bet none of you have ever looked at it like that.

personally i look good in a hat.
