Spanish was my first language. I went into kindergarten not knowing English, but I learned quickly. Of course, now my English is much, much better than my Spanish.

Cantonese was my first, but I ended up learning english from watching television. English is way better than my cantonese, Ugh I wasted my saturdays for that language for nothinggg :[

mine is tagalog. i was born in the phils but left from there wen i was like 6. i knew how to speak english though coz i wasnt allowed to speak tagalog at home, i had to speak english. im still fluent at tagalog though =). im also chamorro but i nevr learned it =(.

i was first taught bengali since my parents are from india, but i learned english from kindergarten to first grade

Well, my parents are both English speaking but I'm French speaking. So English isn't exactly my first language. I speak more French than English. Besides, I reside in a French country. =)

Well, kinda of both Cantonese and English.
I lived with my grandparents, who were illiterate, so I had to speak a lot of Chinese.
But ever since I started school, I haven't been able to speak Chinese as well :T

Yes, but I also spoke a little Spanish because I had a Hispanic babysitter when I was really young. I've forgotten it all by now, though.

Technically, my first language was Thai but I'm fluent when I speak English. (I seemed to have forgotten how to speak fluent Thai, though.)
