I don't like her show, Hannah Montana, nor do I find any of her songs appealing. Maybe its just me, but I just can't get into them. I hadn't exactly heard about these leaky photos until today, but I gotta say the first one is a bit... yeah.

Actually, a lot of 15-year-olds put things like up on their MySpaces and sites like that. This is because they're either stupid or have no shame, or both.

I don't really understand why people are freaking out about those pictures (the Vanity Fair ones)...ooh wow, she shows her back and a lesbian professional photographer took them. Who the f**k cares.

And the other ones were from her personal Myspace that no one is allowed on. They weren't supposed to be all over the internet and since most fifteen year olds post those types of pictures (especially ones that are pimped out all the time anyway), you can't exactly penalize her for that.

I'm not in love with Miley Cyrus or anything, far from it, I just don't understand all the hype about her damn Myspace pictures.

I never was a huge fan of her and the pictures aren't completely trashy, I've seen a lot worse from girls that age but the thing is she has 10 year olds crawling at her feet so she needs to set a good example of herself. The 10 year olds look at the pictures and think its cool to do the same just because Miley did it. Plus she had to of known those pictures were going to leak.

North America needs to get over the fact that they were taken for artistic photography purposes. Sure art is subjective to the eyes of the beholder - hell, I think those pictures lacked any sort of creative spark for my palette (and are just plain BORING), but people have to get over the fact that what she was wearing added to the concept, you know, the aspect that adds artistic value to a photo. Is 15 too young for a 'teen superstar' to expose her back to the world? Most definitely not if that's all she is showing. Look at models, you have some 13-17 year olds that look like they're 20 doing all kinds of shots with or without much on. If that's such a bad thing to exploit these girls like that, then I don't see media touching up on that issue. Why blow up this Miley Cyrus who hasn't even been around the block?

For people to start crying about how the younger generation will be poorly influenced, well is she blatantly flashing her bra and stomach for the world to see? No, she is covered up and does not look seductively slutty like her other photos. I'm surprised they did not cover that more than they did this! To say kids will imitate her back baring shot means nothing because I bet most of that population probably has gone to even more extremes.


The media obviously needs something more useless to talk about if they have to revert to boring editorial photos to call scandalous and put unnecessary fear into parents! Look at the way she hunches her back in the shot. Photography purposes much? Parents need understand it's for the artistic value and get over it!

I looked up the pictures, and I don't think they're that scandalous either. She's what? 15? That's what 15-year-olds do! They take pictures at strange angles that reveal what's down their shirt, they kiss their friends to attract attention,... it's normal. Not that it's the right thing to do... but just go on Facebook or MySpace, and check out all those LG's.

As for the Vanity Fair photos... I really can't blame her. She was probably super excited about being in an grown-up magazine and didn't think about the consequences. She probably got caught up in the moment! And what? She showed off her back? Big whoop! If it's anybody's fault, it's the parents'/photographer's.

But I have to say... those pictures of her and her daddy were disturbing.

The pictures are by no means "scandalous"...I think the shock is that she's from Disney and she's only 15. That said, I know of a lot of 15 year-olds who take pictures like that, and ones that are considerably worse. However, they're not in the public light. Miley Cyrus is a role model for girls her age and younger (even older?) and she needs to be responsible to her fans.

The Vanity Fair photos, on the other hand...come on. Really, how slutty could they be? They were shot by Annie Leibovitz for God's sake. And they're for a magazine...I take those more as art than anything. Her personal photos were a little out of line, though.
