Okay what do you think i should do ? ...

Welll i start up my dell , and then it is stuck on the boot screen where it loads.
like its the screen that says " dell " in big blue letters
then under it it says
inspironn 1501 serious
and bios revision 2.4.1

Well there is this red bar that is loading and it wont load all thee way. then it takes it too this black screen and all of a sudden in these words it says " media test failur, check cable . and exciting broadcom & operating systmen not found"

what exactly does this mean ?

why don't you call dell support? o_O

I really don't know.
The only thing I can think of to fix it.
Is to reboot your computer. =/
As in wiping out your entire operating system.
And reinstall it fresh.
