A Wish To Go Back
Thoughtless words tossed around
With no one to confide within
Towards misery and solitude she's bound
Praying to make up for her committed sins
Praying to go back, to how she'd rather have it be
But yet having the knowledge
That she can't change her so called, "Destiny"
A choice followed by a fault
Wishes gone unheard and blown away
Actions prelude into another thought
Hopes fallen for a new yet darker day
A mind with such regretful undoings
A heart with an empty beat
The actions she didn't take
Now haunting her with defeat
For a chance to go back and do things right
Would surely be something she wouldn't waste
Yet possibly could be an endless and meaningless fight
Although of heartache, she's already had a taste
