I looks like a wonderful improvement, however, I wonder how the change will effect the way our profiles look? (Especially divs.)

Any thoughts?

I like it, but if it messes with the DIVs i will be p!ssed

Yeah, the last thing I want is to have a pretty div with this big blue bar cutting throught it.

Yea tom has great ideas, but always does something to where it messes something up.

I read his blog when he posted it...As long as it doesn't affect my div layouts I make every once in a while, then it's fine with me

Yeah, it shouldn't affect the DIV layouts that hide the nav, unless he changes the name of the nav from .navigationBar to something else.

eww, I like the simple look that it has now, this really makes it look ugly if its put on a layout that doesn't even match it. I'll find the way to take if off when it comes out.

I didn't consider it in terms of how it would affect layouts. I just thought it was ripped off from Facebook since Tom evidently can't form his own ideas.

I think it looks alright..not exactly something I would want on my myspace of course. I guess i'm going to just have to hide it make my own navigations.

I like the look of it on the homepage, but I wouldn't want it on the front, screwing up my layout.
I'll have to find a way to hide it if that happens.

isnt this only for the backend of myspace? I dont think the profiles will look like that will it? I never read that part, also I dont think it will effect DIVS because I dont think tom is going to change the values, just edit them, dont you think? because lets say it is for profiles and he changes the value of the bar on top then it will ruin vEVERYONES layouts, the only ones who wont be effected will be the people who dont have ANY style on their pros

Myspace keeps changing more and more often. More than it ever used to. It's hard to keep up with it sometimes. msplinks messed up DIVs on CB... and this probably will too.

Ugh, yes, the msplinks, I forgot about those too. I wonder if Tom even realizes the consiquences of the changes he makes?

Like Myspace suddenly has Apps. But the comments they leave are horrible! It looks worse than when someone gets hacked!

that's not cool. the sub-menus are going to be written in shoddy javascript so the classes will be changed. often, you even need to use id's instead of classes so we might not even be able to edit it. i have a feeling it's going to put put on profiles as well as all other pages, because of the sub menus to make the navigation bar less cramped.

that's going to be a pain to work around.
