My roommate showers for 40 minutes, while I shower for 15 minutes. My hair is close to buzz cut bald by the way. I told my roommate he's a girl, and why would you need 40 minutes just to shower. I mean it takes 3 minutes to rinse yourself when you get in, then 5 minutes to was your hair, 2 minutes to body wash maybe, then another 5 minutes or so to rinse again. Total of 15 minutes. He said I was a dirty person for showering for only 15 minutes. I told him if I'm dirty, then half of America is dirty, since 15 minutes is average time. So am I a dirty person?

No, I usually only shower for 15-20 minutes as well. Sometimes I do spend longer if I'm exfoliating or deep-conditioning my hair, but it's never anywhere near 40 minutes.

sounds like you already have all the information that tells you whether or not you're a dirty person...you know you're not "dirty" tung, stop succumbing to other people's (useless) perceptions of what is dirty and what isn't. like you said, the amount of time you shower is the average amount of time an american showers. your roommate is just strange, really.

question: are you going to question every single aspect of yourself if one person (who happens to be out of the norm) calls you out on anything?
Tung
Good question Betty. I always have the answer to my questions. XD.gif
I just want to know what the general consensus thinks though. It's better to hear what people have to say.

LOL no one will say OMG TUNGggg WTFZZZZzzz YOU ARE DIRTY!!!!!!!!!! unless it's a joke/sarcasm

if anyone says anything claiming that you are even remotely "dirty", it's only going to be about your mind. it'll have absolutely nothing to do with your personal hygiene.
S-Majere
My folks get real arsey with me if I spend more than 20 minutes in the shower. No pressure, Majere. Haha.
KillBill

Tell him to shut his f**kin, metrosexual, confused, ass up. I only take 15 minutes, 20 minutes if I rub one off. You should shit in his pillow.

he is clearly jacking off in the shower, thats why it takes so much time

You're efficient. Your roommate just wastes water.
misoshiru

I take about a 15 minute shower. Sometimes less, sometimes more. Depends on what I'm doing... in the sense of if I'm shaving my legs it takes me a little longer... haha

even for a girl, 40 mins is a lot. i'd only take 40 min showers if i'm really sore and i wanna use my massage jets ;x

or if i had really long hair.
Glamourouz
No 15-20 is fine in a shower; that's the point; if you want to stay in all day you'd take a bath...I only take showers over 20 mins. if I'm on my cycle or washing my hair
wwwww
I tend to shower for an hour or so.

I don't jack off in there.

I just have exceptionally long hair for a guy.
