In all, without the necessary breaks..
About 3-4 hours. Then I had to figure out how to tweak stuff. Then I just add more as I go. I'd rather have something that is constantly in construction, than a fully launched website, that I never touch again.

It took me about a day. I didn't have much content to put up and my layout was incredibly plain so I didn't have much to do.

Took me a few hours, since i already had a lot of the content.
When i update the whole site, it takes me about the same.

^LOL, I have a very strong feeling, that I'm going to take that long.
I've made a lot of websites for other people and I finished those in about a months time. Taking time away from them to discuss all the areas and stuff and then taking time from my busy schedule at that time to make it.
Currently I'm making a new personal website, and I have to say its taking a while. I've had for a couple of months, but just started it so I'm going to say at least a month or two.
And I still have to make blue prints for flash for my website >_>

it depends on how picky you are about your design. anyone can put a layout up in 10 mins.
the designing part is harder/more time consuming for me. coding may seem like it's the more time consuming factor, but if you have your design down to the t, coding is easy. i launched my site within a week from design to finish 'cause i based it on an older design and just did minor updates. when i decided to change my design, it took me forever 'cause i still liked my old design. right now i don't even have the time to come up with something more intricate/creative, so i'm on hiatus.

Total - 3 days
I take a long time to make a layout and the coding takes about an hour cause I'm slow at that too and putting everything up...slow as well.

4 years and i'm still working on it. it's a shame. but recently i've figured out php and stuff. wordpress was kind of difficult to transition into but now it's easy. just gotta fix my layout.

about a week for each of 5 or so sites. i have a bad habit of starting one, then stopping it because i'm so busy with my real job. i think if i could actually make a profit off a website then i could quit my job and work on one of them more.
